The peer review process for Advances in Sustainable Energies and Environment (A-SEE) ensures the quality and integrity of published research.
The process begins with manuscript submission through the online system, where compliance with journal guidelines is checked. An initial editorial screening evaluates the relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, adherence to formatting requirements, and originality using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors.
For manuscripts that pass the initial screening, an editor assigns suitable expert reviewers based on the subject area, expertise, and absence of conflicts of interest. The journal follows a double-blind review process, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential.
Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and relevance. They provide constructive feedback and recommend acceptance, revisions, or rejection. The editor reviews these recommendations and makes a decision to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.
If revisions are required, authors are given the opportunity to address the reviewers’ feedback. Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review before a final decision is made. Accepted manuscripts are then formatted, proofread, and published online as part of the journal's open-access policy.
This process ensures that only high-quality, impactful research is published.
